Xiaohua Song

Founding Artistic Advisor

Xiaohua Song is an accomplished classical soprano and highly respected voice teacher with extensive experience in both performance and vocal pedagogy. Throughout her career, she has appeared in solo recitals, opera productions, and concert performances, and has dedicated herself to nurturing young singers with a strong foundation in vocal technique, musical interpretation, and stage presence.

Her students have earned recognition in prestigious competitions and summer programs and have developed into confident and expressive performers. As the Founding Artistic Advisor of Echo4Hope, Ms. Song provides artistic leadership in repertoire selection, program development, and performance preparation.

Yunfei (Sophia) Wang

Executive DirectorMarketing & Creative Director

Sophia is a high school student, soprano, and Founder of Echo4Hope. She is passionate about singing, piano, visual arts, and using creativity to bring people together.

Through performances and community outreach, Sophia has witnessed how music can bring comfort, connection, and hope. Inspired by these experiences, she founded Echo4Hope to create opportunities for young artists to use their talents in service of others and support meaningful causes.

Sophia believes music and the arts can serve as a bridge between people, bringing together individuals from different backgrounds through shared experiences, understanding, and connection.

  • Founded and leads Echo4Hope
  • Defines the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals
  • Oversees strategic planning, annual initiatives, and concert development
  • Coordinates team operations and cross-department collaboration
  • Guides organizational messaging, artistic direction, and major decision-making
  • Builds partnerships with community organizations, advisors, and supporters

Marketing & Creative Director

  • Leads branding, visual identity, and public communications
  • Designs and develops the organization's website and digital presence
  • Oversees social media strategy, outreach campaigns, and audience engagement
  • Designs promotional materials, concert graphics, and program publications
  • Ensures a cohesive and mission-driven public image across all platforms

Rainier Wang

Technical Director

Rainier Wang is a high school student, baritone, and Technical Director of Echo4Hope.

Rainier is excited to share his joy of music, including classical pieces in Italian, German, Spanish, and Latin, with the people and communities around him. As Technical Director, he helps coordinate venue planning, technical preparation, and performance logistics.

He has seen how music can empower individuals, from singing with neurodivergent groups to performing for seniors, and hopes to help Echo4Hope create lasting impact in the Bay Area and beyond.

  • Research and evaluate performance venues
  • Coordinate venue logistics, contracts, and technical requirements
  • Work with venue staff and production partners to prepare performance spaces
  • Oversee concert operations, technical planning, and event-day execution
  • Help resolve logistical challenges before and during performances

Demi Zheng

Stage Manager

Demi Zheng is a high school student, soprano, and Stage Manager of Echo4Hope. She enjoys exploring repertoire in Italian, German, Latin, French, Chinese, and other languages, finding joy in the way music connects language, culture, and emotion.

In addition to singing, Demi studies Latin both in and outside of school, which has deepened her love for the classical world and inspired her interest in the intersection of music, language, and the humanities.

As Stage Manager, Demi helps transform artistic plans into an organized production schedule and supports rehearsal and backstage coordination. She is excited to be part of Echo4Hope because she believes music should be shared in ways that create access.

Henry Hanyuan Liu

Finance & Development Director

Henry Hanyuan Liu is a high school student, baritone, and Finance & Development Director of Echo4Hope. As part of the founding team, he is passionate about the expansion of Echo4Hope.

Henry developed his passion for music through years of choral singing and now hopes to continue exploring music as a soloist, using it to bring people together and inspire those around him. Through volunteering with Special Melodies, a community music outreach program, he has witnessed firsthand the comfort, connection, and hope that music can bring to those in need.

As Finance & Development Director, Henry hopes to build new partnerships and strengthen existing ones to support Echo4Hope’s growth, visibility, and impact.

  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning
  • Track donations, fundraising proceeds, and event expenses
  • Support sponsorship outreach and community partnerships
  • Coordinate volunteers, parents, and community supporters
  • Help strengthen Echo4Hope’s long-term growth and sustainability
